Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai visited her hometown, Barkana Shangla, on Wednesday and met her family members. She also visited her ancestral graveyard and the Shangla Girls School and College for the first time since she was attacked in Swat and left the country.
According to locals, Malala met college students and her family members in her home town after over a decade.
Malala belongs to Barkana village of Shahpur, a tehsil in Shangla.
After her short trip, Malala returned to Islamabad.
